Subiekt Sprint 2 (InsERT)

Subiekt Sprint 2 is a fast sales system designed for companies serving retail customers. It works well in single- and multi-workstation stores (including self-service ones), both in individual shops and in chains. It works together with the Subiekt GT or Subiekt nexo sales systems (exchanging data on products, prices, business partners, etc.), as well as with many external devices (fiscal printers, barcode scanners, electronic scales, etc.).

Subiekt Sprint 2 is a completely new edition of the software. The system has gained a clear, intuitive interface that simplifies work as much as possible. Version 2 has also been enriched with a number of new features that ensure faster customer service and more efficient store management.

The system consists of two main applications - Sales and Management. The first allows commercial documents to be issued at points of sale; the second is a "back office" type application that administers sales, enabling, among other things, the configuration of workstations including external devices, the delegation and settlement of salespeople, inventory control, and the configuration of data exchange with the sales system.

Sales - key features:

• checking product stock levels at other branches (stores);
• applying time-based and price-based promotions defined in Subiekt nexo or Subiekt GT;
• issuing all necessary sales documents (invoices, receipts) and processing returns from retail sales in accordance with applicable regulations;
• support for many fiscal printer models based on communication protocols (including: Novitus, Thermal, Posnet, Elzab, Upos);
• support for many external devices that facilitate sales: electronic scales, barcode scanners (RS and keyboard-wedge), displays;
• touchscreen support;
• accepting payments and giving change in any currency;
• support for various forms of payment (cash, card, voucher);
• easy and very fast document issuing thanks to "online" saving and fiscalization, i.e. immediate saving to the database and fiscal registration of the entered product item;
• the ability to issue multiple documents simultaneously at a workstation (multi-document mode);
• discount support with the ability to define allowable discount thresholds for individual salespeople;
• the ability to withdraw part of the takings while a salesperson is working;
• product identification using a barcode scanner and various search methods (by name, symbol, barcode or PLU, using the InsTYNKT mechanism);
• support for linked products (e.g. a product with packaging);
• support for barcodes with variable quantity, price, or weight;
• canceling an item or the entire document;
• printing documents on graphic and text printers;
• in the touchscreen interface, the ability to use quick-quantity buttons (useful when selling products in packs).

Store management - key features:

• configuring points of sale taking into account the specifics of the sales conducted at them, and managing the hardware infrastructure;
• comprehensive staff management, with the assignment of roles and permissions and the delegation and settlement of salespeople;
• product range management - stock levels (receiving goods, returning goods, stocktaking, re-sorting), price lists;
• cooperation with the sales system (Subiekt GT or Subiekt nexo) - importing products, business partners, price lists, users, and entity data; exporting sales; the ability to set a schedule for data exchange between Subiekt Sprint and the sales system.

Key new features in Subiekt Sprint 2:

• new software appearance - easier navigation within the system;
• changing product prices independently of the sales system;
• bulk assignment of touchscreen settings for all workstations;
• printing duplicates of issued commercial documents;
• assigning product filters to a workstation (at a given workstation, the user will by default see a filtered product list);
• removing all discounts applied while issuing a commercial document;
• the ability to print the most recently issued document;
• the ability to password-protect the archive file;
• additional protection on the side of the sales system against discrepancies appearing in stock levels between the store, headquarters and the sales system. This protection is available in Subiekt GT version 1.39 and later;
• filtering products by activity status (any, active, inactive).
