INWENTARYZATOR 3

Inwentaryzator 3 is the latest version of the universal program for CipherLab CPT800x, CPT711, CPT8300, and CPT8400 mobile computers. Compared with the previous version, the program has been enhanced with several new features, the most important of which are:

• the ability to export and import device and program settings. A very useful function for users with multiple CipherLab mobile computers. The configuration of one device can be exported to a file and then imported to the other devices used in the company.
• support for barcodes up to 30 characters long (previously limited to 13 characters).
• the item price can be sent in grosz or in whole PLN (previously only in grosz).
• the ability to configure the barcode scanner directly from Inwentaryzator 3. An essential solution wherever non-standard barcodes are used.
• searching for items by name, now with the ability to search for several name fragments at once. This function makes it easier to find items when the database contains products whose names differ only slightly, e.g., "Kawa mielona 100g" and "Kawa mielona 250g" (ground coffee 100g / 250g). Searching for the item of interest could look like this: [ka miel 2]
• a price-checker function has been added, which, combined with the mobile device, becomes a convenient controlling tool.
• Inwentaryzator 3 can now calculate the total value and the total quantity/weight for a given document (an option added following suggestions from users of the previous version of the program).

In addition to the features listed above, the help option supporting work at any point in the program has been greatly expanded. Like its previous version, Inwentaryzator 3 allows the creation of multiple documents and work with the item and contractor databases. The transmission protocols are compatible with those used previously – two solutions are still available: the Novitus protocol or the CipherLab protocol.

Inwentaryzator 3 is available in 3 versions:

• DEMO – sending and receiving only 5 items
• BASIC, which is supplied together with devices purchased from Novitus SA. Limitations of the basic version:
  • only one document is possible.
  • price checker not active
  • no support for contractor databases or document types.
  • no ability to change the file structure.
  • no ability to send configuration to the mobile computer.
  • no ability to change the transmission protocol.
  • no ability to send the item database from the mobile computer.
  • no ability for the mobile computer to receive documents.
  • no ability to edit prices
  • no ability to search for items by name or view the full name
  • no ability to check the document value and total quantity
  • no support for weight-embedded codes with a prefix and padded with “?” characters
• FULL – with no limitations.
