Order Picking in Subiekt GT

A new program in the NOVITUS SA product range for quickly picking orders to and from suppliers and customers in Subiekt GT. By using mobile computers (data collectors) for the picking process, the solution significantly speeds up operations and practically eliminates the possibility of errors. The solution consists of two components:
1 – a program running on a PC with Subiekt GT installed (Sfera GT is required); 2 – a program running on a portable data terminal (mobile computer).
The main tasks of the PC program include:
- selecting ZK and ZD documents (customer orders and supplier orders) from Subiekt and sending them to the portable terminal (mobile computer);
- receiving documents from the terminal and converting them into WZ, PZ, and sales/purchase invoice documents;
- creating difference-order documents for orders that are not 100% picked.
The application running on the terminal provides the following functionality:
- picking documents by completing the quantities of successive items;
- the ability to edit items by scanning the item's barcode or by selecting from a list of what has not yet been picked on the document;
- a document can have one of three statuses:
1. Being edited – documents still being processed by the user (documents with this status are not sent back to the PC);
2. Closed – the user has finished editing, but the document is not 100% picked (the document will be sent to the PC and a difference document can be created for what is missing);
3. Completed – editing finished, the document is 100% picked.

The program works with Datalogic and CipherLab terminals.
