It depends on the type of buyer. Not if the buyer is a business and wants to receive an invoice. Their NIP must be included on the receipt. If the buyer is a private individual, we can issue a personal invoice for the receipt without a NIP number, which is not subject to the obligation to be sent to KSeF.
From 1 January 2027, the rules for receipts with a NIP will also change. A receipt with a NIP up to PLN 450 will no longer be treated as a simplified invoice. If a taxpayer needs an invoice, it will have to be issued and sent to KSeF – and for sales to a taxpayer covered by the KSeF obligation, the invoice will be issued in KSeF.
