CipherLab CPT 8300 LI

CipherLab 83xx series mobile computers (data collectors) are portable computers equipped with a laser barcode scanner. They have an IP65 rating, meaning the housing is dust- and splash-proof and designed for outdoor use. The mobile computer is a programmable device – this gives the user the ability to create their own program to control its operation (C and Basic compilers and the so-called Application Generator are available). The INWENTARYZATOR (Stocktaking) program for the 8300 series is compatible with the CPT711/720/8000 programs. The mobile computer can communicate with a PC via cable, a dock, or an infrared link. It can be powered by alkaline batteries or a Li-Ion battery (charging the battery does not require removing it from the device). The device is ideal for use in, for example, industrial halls, factories, and wholesale warehouses. Communication stations with a built-in 56k modem are also available for the 8300 series. The mobile computers are available with 2 or 4 MB of memory and 24 or 39 keys, and the keyboard is designed for both right- and left-handed users.
